Control Panel

For the design I based it on LuCiD's design, basically. I definately wanted it to be a four-player control panel. For the measurements I just measured for the top (so it would fit four players comfortably), the bottom and the hieght, and the rest I made up as I went along.

From the beginning I already knew I would hack usb controllers and solder the arcade controls to those. I decided to got with these (PLACE Controller Pic here), the reason, they were super cheap. They were like $2 something form Geeks.com. So I took the controller apart and removed the board.

I then attached the controller boards to the control panel base board then proceeded to solder the wires to the controller board. Here is what it looked like after the soldering was done.

controller cards soldered then attached to control panel base

After the controller boards were attached, I Put together the rest of the control panel.
